SKYVEST is a category 2 PPE certified by TÜV designed to protect and reduce injuries in case of falls from low heights. The reflective vest with integrated airbag made of tear-resistant material inflates within 200 ms in case of a fall.

The airbag system is inflated via a CO2 cylinder with pyrotechnic release. After a fall, the inflator can be replaced by the user and is therefore reusable.

The inflator unit (included), connected to an electronic sensor, detects fall situations based on parameters such as movement, acceleration, and the person's position. Not only the chest and back, including the spine, are protected, but also the nape and coccyx.

Worn even over a conventional harness, SKYVEST combined with PPE for work at height can significantly reduce the risk of injury, for example in pendulum falls. With a battery life of up to 40 hours, it is flexible, independent, and universally applicable: the perfect addition for all areas where PPE for work at height is not applicable.
