• Assisted locking belay device with cam optimized for lead climbing:

– allows belaying for lead climbing and top-rope climbing,

– optimized for lead climbing, thanks to the integrated wheel in the device that enables smooth rope movement to give slack to the climber more easily and quickly,

– belaying comfort, thanks to assisted locking with cam: in case of a fall or climber's rest, the rope tightens, the wheel locks, then the cam rotates and clamps the rope to hold it.

• Ease of use:

– easy rope installation, thanks to markings engraved on the belay device,

– technique common to all Petzl belay devices, based on guiding the rope through the device and maintaining a permanent hold on the brake side rope with one hand,

– assisted locking with cam ensures high tolerance of the brake hand position, regardless of the angle between the climber's rope and the brake side rope,

– compatible with all single dynamic ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm and optimized for ropes with diameters between 8.9 and 10.5 mm.

• Rappel control:

– comfortable grip and easy rope unlocking, thanks to the ergonomic handle,

– handle leverage multiplied by 3 for better control of rope feed with small diameters and less effort on the handle for larger rope diameters.
