CPR-D-padz With an electrode it is easier than with two. The ZOLL semi-automatic external defibrillator for rescue presents CPR-D-padz, ™ a pair of pre-connected electrodes, assembled in a single element, with Real CPR Help® technology. Ordinary AEDs require the rescuer to use two separate electrodes that can be confusing while applying the sensor to the center of the sternum it is easy to quickly position the CPR-D-padz electrode on the victim. The CPR-D-padz lasts five years, much more than any commercially available defibrillator electrode. Real CPR Help Inadequate frequency and depth of compression are common during CPR. An adult needs at least 100 compressions per minute at a depth of at least 5 cm. The compressions must be of high quality to make the blood and oxygen flow effectively. ZOLL's AED Plus® converts compression data instantly from the CPR-D-padz and provides an accelerometer that helps the rescuer reach an adequate frequency and depth of compressions, issuing, if necessary, a message indicating "greater compression" or "adequate compressions". It also shows the CPR compression depth on the display. AED Plus is the only AED that helps the rescuer reach the correct frequency and depth of chest compressions during CPR.
