FFP2 mask individually wrapped.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that prevents the user from inhaling aerosols (dust, fumes, etc.), vapors and gases (disinfectants, anesthetic gases) that are dangerous to health. It also protects against airborne infectious agents, and therefore against coronavirus type viruses (COVID-19, SARS, H1N1, etc.).

This FFP2 mask is constructed with 5 filter layers, internally lined nose clip and Spandex elastic. Sealed hem to avoid small openings in the corners. The design ensures comfort in use with other PPE (glasses, headphones, etc.).

FFP2 masks guarantee a minimum filtration of 94% and internal penetration of no more than 8%. They are devices used mainly in construction, agriculture, the pharmaceutical industry and by health personnel against influenza viruses, avian flu, SARS, pneumonic plague, tuberculosis and, more recently, COVID-19.

The use of FFP2 masks is recommended for use by all workers who are objectively unable to maintain the interpersonal distance of one meter.

FFP2 devices must be used in hospital wards where infected patients are found, by the rescuers of infected patients and in medical guards.
