It works both as a descender and as an ascent tool offering multiple solutions for the management of cables with high loads. CLUTCH is the result of the collaboration in the design and production of two experts in the sector with over 90 years of combined experience in the management of cables with high loads: CMC, a company with roots in the rescue and rope access sector; and Harken Industrial, a company with roots in the nautical sector.

Promptness of intervention and unique value: CLUTCH combines the typical characteristics of more complex similar instruments with those of less sophisticated descenders. This allows rescue teams to transport less material, but still be ready to perform even more complex rescue operations.
More precise descents: The patented mechanical geometry inside the CLUTCH, combined with its ergonomic handle, guarantee better control of the load during the descent.
Designed for intuitive and safe use: The CLUTCH is designed for simple and efficient use and to ensure optimal control. The innovative double-locking side plate is completely independent of the anchoring point of the device, thus avoiding the risk of involuntary opening. Ideal for rescue and rope access professionals.
Efficiency for better performance: The faceted ratchet pulley of CLUTCH, made of stainless steel, holds and locks the rope securely. It is also exceptionally high performing in ascent or movement operations.
